When you walk around the streets of New York City you always see homeless people whether you process it or not. They're always there and they sure do see you but you pass bye them like they are ghost. Do you ever stop and think about where they came from? If they were ever given a chance. From my own experiences I always tried to ignore them or step away from them, I don't know why but it was sort of as if I believed that they were not necessarily worthy of my time. I felt bad for them but I could never do anything so instead of feeling guilty I made them feel rejected. They are treated like the shadows of our society and even though some people actually care there is not enough who do. Homeless people were people just like us but they either wasted there chance or never got one.
